Great view great location but rooms and service is not good the key keeper moved my car I asked him to park it nicely he screamed at me even the cleaning service they stole half of my jewelry the toilet has a very bad smell I want to connect my PlayStation but I can’t connect it the key keeper damaged my car and it’s rented it was 1500 fee for the repair I highly recommend choose another hotel it’s so bad hotel services is not polite they screamed at me and the cleaning service screamed at my dad not to go inside while they are cleaning he was so angry even we are Muslims and half of Muslims are in the hotel and theres a nightclub when there’s a nightclub there’s no parking to park this is where I got screamed by the key keeper I just said let the people inside the nightclub park their car down and he said no I said ok and I went to reception and told to them they didn’t care and the cars are messed up I prefer the hotel change staff

Good, spacious, and clean rooms. I booked a standard non-smoking room with city view...it's actually facing the main road of Yomra. It's a 15 mins drive from the airport. As usual in Turkey, there are smokers everywhere, and cigarettes smell in the room. There is no aircon in the room during the month of May. I was told it's still considered winter month! I can't open the balcony door to get fresh air because of the traffic noise. Sound isolation is not so good because I can hear people talking next door and in the toilet doing their business! But overall, we managed to stay comfortably. The breakfast spread was good. Enjoyed the dinner as well since we booked a room with half board, which I highly recommend because it's very convenient after a long and tiring day out sightseeing.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Trabzon branch and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the hotel had its redeeming qualities, such as a decent buffet and a convenient location, there were several glaring issues that significantly impacted my stay. First and foremost, the walls in the hotel were alarmingly thin, allowing sound to permeate through with ease. This lack of soundproofing made it nearly impossible to enjoy a peaceful and quiet environment in the rooms. Conversations from neighboring rooms and even hallway noise were disturbingly audible, greatly diminishing the quality of rest and relaxation I had expected. Furthermore, I found the room service to be disappointing. One of the major concerns was the inconsistent replacement of water bottles. It was disheartening to discover that not all water bottles were replenished with new ones, which is an essential expectation in any hotel. Additionally, the absence of individual shampoo and soap bottles was inconvenient. Instead, the hotel had installed cheap fixed dispensers from a brand like Dove, which lacked the quality and variety one would typically find in a reputable hotel like Holiday Inn. Moving on to the buffet, it was moderately good, but the lack of variety was a significant letdown. The food options remained unchanged throughout my stay, resulting in a monotonous dining experience. Moreover, the quality of the food was mediocre, especially when compared to other branches of Holiday Inn that I have visited previously. It felt as though the culinary standards were not up to par with the brand's usual excellence. Another issue worth mentioning is the language barrier. Many of the staff members at the hotel struggled to communicate effectively in English. While I understand that language proficiency can vary, it was challenging to convey my needs and concerns, which added to the overall frustration during my stay. In conclusion, the Holiday Inn Trabzon fell short of meeting my expectations. While it had some positive aspects, such as a convenient location and a passable buffet, the leaky walls, inconsistent room service, lack of quality amenities, and language barriers all contributed to a disappointing experience. I believe these issues not only tarnish the hotel's reputation but also hinder its ability to provide a comfortable and satisfactory stay.
